**The Role**
This critical role oversees the delivery of high quality services to enable Defence capability across a large Defence Base and nearby support precinct. Working in a complex, unique and high tempo environment, this role will challenge your visionary leadership skills and enable you to make a personal contribution to the Australian Defence Force, through your role as Base Manager.
Leadership and stakeholder engagement are key responsibilities of this role. We need an energetic and customer-centric leader; one who responds with enthusiasm and flexibility, to meet the needs of this ever-changing environment.
This exciting role requires high level strategic thinking to support our Government of the day through sound decision-making, collaboration and extensive consultation.

**About our Team**
This small team is located at HMAS Stirling, Garden Island, Rockingham and supports an emerging capability precinct at Henderson, near Cockburn
As the Team Leader you will champion the vision to be a flexible, agile, high performing and cohesive team of highly motivated individuals.
Your team is responsible for assisting with Defence capability through the effective provision of base operations support. They will deliver customer focused outcomes through effective, integrated partnerships with senior members of the Australian Defence Force Services, customers, contracted service delivery partners and other stakeholders.
The team works in a multifaceted, high tempo environment that brings rewarding challenges and a great sense of purpose. The team will actively engage their peers and colleagues at other bases to share knowledge and good practice and support the development of new starters.
Key responsibilities include base emergency management readiness, issues escalation and resolution, ensuring timely fulfilment of customer reported maintenance requirements and minimizing impact of service disruptions at a busy operational site impacted by ongoing facilities construction and infrastructure development.
