Experienced Female Support Worker

**Shifts Available**:

- **Days**: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
- **Time**: 10 AM - 12 PM

**Client Profile**:
Our client is a warm and engaging individual who communicates through body language and facial expressions. They use a manual wheelchair for mobility and find joy in listening to music while appreciating peaceful walks around the botanic gardens. Taxi rides are another favorite activity, provided they are in a calm environment. Sensitivity to touch and noise is important to consider, as the client thrives in quiet settings where they can relax and engage at their own pace.

We are seeking compassionate and attentive support workers to assist our client in enjoying their daily activities.

- **Your key responsibilities & accountabilities **_

To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered

Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients' needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist

Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs

Provide support to our Clients as required

Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner

Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required

Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients

To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
- **To be Successful you must **_

Resonate with the role description above

Be able to prepare and deliver yummy food that our Client can enjoy

Hold CPR and first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Hold NDIS worker screening or yellow card (or willingness to obtain)

Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card

Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain
- preferred)

Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia

Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives

Manual handling experience required

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $34.45 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Public holidays
- Shift work

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)
