**About the role**
In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks within the Property team. The effectiveness of the position will be determined according to the quality and the quantity of outputs produced.

Key responsibilities include:

- Accurate, timely and up-to-date creation and maintenance of records including:

- subdivisions,
- property splits,
- street numbers,
- property data sets,
- valuations for rating purposes,
- base rate account,
- new and existing customers, and
- voter details.
- Carry out routine property and administrative functions including:

- day-to-day activities for administration of municipal property files, and
- maintenance of computerised data records in accordance with legislation, policy and procedure.
- Provide a positive contribution to clear and effective communication to all external and internal customers’ enquiries.
- Make a positive personal contribution to the successful operation of the Property team by participating in the development of it into an efficient, effective and customer-focused team operating as a business unit with a strong commercial focus.
- Complete administrative functions in an accurate and timely manner including the use of computer systems.

To be successful in this role, you will display integrity, responsibility, respect for others and the ability to be innovative.

Essential Experience:

- Understanding of property transactions, titles and tenure, subdivision and building permit processes.
- Understanding of legal and compliance issues.
- Practical experience in property management.
- Ability to work within a team environment requiring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
- Proficiency in the use of personal computer and relevant system software.
- General office skills including filing, word-processing, maintenance of databases and record keeping.
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills.
