HomeCaring Brisbane are an NDIS registered provider who pride themselves on providing care & support delivered with kindness and compassion to our NDIS participants. We foster a "people first" culture where both Participant's and Team Members are highly valued. We are seeking a small team of kind and caring Support Workers to assist our lovely Participant's on a daily basis. Each day will consist of a morning and an afternoon shift with an inactive sleepover included. Our Participant's will need you to assist them with: - Activities of daily living. - Community and social engagement. - All aspects of support physically & emotionally and on an individual needs basis. To continue providing high quality care, Home Caring require our Support Workers to have: - A **genuine passion **for working alongside individuals and their families to foster a positive and long-lasting relationship. - Excellent communication skills and flexibility to support clients needs based on individual circumstances. - A positive attitude strongly based in compassion and resilience, a sense of humour, and ongoing accountability. - Qualification in Disability Care or equivalent experience - Current First Aid and CPR certificates - The right to work in Australia **Job Type**: Casual **Salary**: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Salary packaging - Travel reimbursement Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 12 hour shift - Afternoon shift - Day shift - Evening shift - Fixed shift - Monday to Friday - Night shift - Public holidays - Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: - Penalty rates **Language**: - Fluent English (required) Licence/Certification: - NDIS Worker Screening (yellow card) (required) - Blue Card (required) - Driver Licence (required) - Access to a comprehensively insured vehicle (required) - CPR Certification (required) - First Aid Certification (required) Work Authorisation: - Australia (required) Shift availability: - Day Shift (preferred) - Night Shift (preferred) - Overnight Shift (required)
