Have you recently finished school and thinking about a hands-on career within civil construction?

Maxima, in partnership with the City of Salisbury, are looking for self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals to undertake an entry-level civil construction apprenticeship.

This opportunity is available as a full-time or school-based apprenticeship. Gain a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations, **all training paid for and real-world industry experience.

Join a friendly and experienced team and learn all aspects of the building and construction industry to help make a positive change to the infrastructure in your local community.

**Benefits**:

- Achievement of Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations

**Duties Include**:

- Minor road reconstruction and asphalt laying
- Lay and repair stormwater pipes and drainage pits
- Major Plant Operation - Excavator, skid steer, roller and 3 tonne crane
- Minor Plant Operation - Grinders, Quick Cut Saw, Vibe Plate
- Workzone Traffic Management - Setup of traffic management for construction activities

**About You**:

- Driven with a positive attitude
- Enjoy working in an outdoor, team first environment
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Physically fit and able to move repetitively
- Strong verbal communication skills

**Role Requirements**:

- Provisional or c-class driver’s licence with reliable transport
- Any labouring or industry experience (desirable)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment assessment, including drug and alcohol
