Customer Support Technician

With rapid growth comes opportunity. We are looking for a Customer Support Technician to join our team in Australia. This is a full-time position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides a high level of customer service by inputting and ensuring correct processing of customer orders, returns, and repairs submitted via various input methods.
- Performs Preventative Maintenance and standard repairs for all Hygiena equipment lines. Follow processes in all business systems to track repairs until the process is fully complete.
- Manages and maintains the service inventory and documentation.
- Participates in process improvement efforts to build capacity, improve service, and improve quality on an as needed basis.
- Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seeks guidance as necessary.
- Actively supports and participates in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Safety Manual and Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
- Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
- Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
- Handles various other duties as delegated by the Operations Manager.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or a related field preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer support required that includes the following:

- Laboratory environment (food safety/quality highly desired) as a lab technician or higher
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat required.
