From advising on project and change risk to managing incidents and supporting remediation efforts, you’ll be instrumental in enhancing our risk and compliance maturity.

What will your day look like?
**As a Risk & Compliance Advisor, you will**:
Continually uplift Risk and Compliance practices across Business Banking teams.
Maintain up to date knowledge of Risk, Compliance and Governance practices across the Bank and implement practice changes across Business Banking where required.
Actively promote and embed a positive Risk culture throughout Business Banking.
Facilitate the Business Banking Risk Committee, including monthly (with support from Risk Analysts) reporting and presentation at the Committee.
Support Business Banking team members and leaders on the management and governance of incidents through to resolution (including remediation).
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Experience in risk/compliance advice or related field in Financial Services industry
Background in understanding and interpreting complex Standards, Policies and Frameworks
Strong written and verbal communication skills at various levels of management
Sound knowledge of financial institution operations, relevant regulatory requirements, and Group policies and frameworks
Strong understanding of risk and compliance management practices, risk appetite and governance concepts
Extensive knowledge of Banking and financial industry principles, regulations, and overall market.
Strong communication skills with ability to persuade, influence and build rapport with others, build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and impart specialist knowledge and build capability in others
