**Key Responsibilities**

As a **Retail Assistant**, you will be a key member of our team, helping to deliver excellent customer service and support the smooth running of the pharmacy. Your main duties will include:

- **Customer Service**: Greet and assist customers with their health care needs, answer questions, and provide guidance on over-the-counter medications and products.
- **Sales & Product Knowledge**: Use your retail experience to recommend pharmacy products, offer advice, and ensure that customers are satisfied with their purchase.
- **Stock Management**: Assist with stock replenishment, inventory management, and merchandising to ensure the pharmacy shelves are well-stocked and presented.
- **Cashier Duties**: Process transactions, handle cash and payments, and ensure accurate cashiering.
- **Store Presentation**: Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming store environment.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work with pharmacy staff to support day-to-day operations and ensure a smooth, efficient service for our customers.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**

**Essential**:

- **Retail Experience**: Previous experience in retail or customer service is essential (pharmacy experience is not required).
- **Customer Focus**: A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and making customers feel valued.
- **Positive Personality**: Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
- **Attention to Detail**: Accuracy in handling transactions and maintaining store organisation.
- **Willingness to Learn**: An eagerness to develop new skills and grow within the pharmacy industry.
- **Availability**: Flexibility to work a rotating 5-day roster (Monday-Sunday).

**Desirable**:

- **Experience in Retail Management**: If you have experience in a retail supervisory or leadership role, this will be an advantage.
- **Interest in Health & Wellbeing**: A passion for health care or wellness, and a desire to help others in their health journey.

Pay: $25.65 - $42.42 per hour
