As our Conference & Events Operations Manager, you will run a range of meetings and events across our venue. You will have an eye for detail, take pride in your high standards and be highly organised to successfully deliver a high-quality experience for our clients.

**Key responsibilities of the role**:

- Lead, coach and empower our Supervisors and Attendants to consistently deliver first-rate service
- Maintain consistent contact with clients so that all needs and requests are met prior to and during functions
- Supervise room set ups to ensure client needs are met according to the event order
- Keep up to date with industry trends and provide creative suggestions and innovative ideas to enhance the success of events
- Manage budgets and deliver on profit margins by controlling costs and payroll
- Ensure communication between Sales, Food & Beverage and Kitchen teams is seamless for the smooth implementation of events

- A strong background in conference and events operations, preferably within the luxury market.
- Experience in executing rosters and running mid to large scale events with skill and precision.
- A hands-on leadership approach that entails leading by example, building a strong team culture and setting the scene for high performance.
- The resolve to deliver exceptional guest services and create a unique and memorable experience with personality.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills alongside the ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build connections with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the business.
- Flexible availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
