As we plan for the next phase of transformation and growth, we have created a new permanent position for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to be based in Brisbane at our Morningside Operations Centre, supporting high volume and business critical resourcing needs for our largest Business Unit across QLD and Northern NSW.

**Key areas of responsibilities include**:

- Building strong relationships with senior leaders and hiring managers within the Funeral Operations business and the P&C team (e.g. HR Business Partners, HR Operations, WH&S)
- Delivering outstanding service to internal customers through engagement, consultation and timely communicationSupporting the Talent Acquisition Manager (Funerals & Mortuary Strategy & Operations) on continuous improvement initiatives and projects.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Several years' experience within internal talent acquisition or an RPO environment preferred
- Experience in recruitment marketing and omni channel sourcing from leveraging job boards, social media campaign, talent pooling, internal mobility, referrals and networking
- Advantageous if you have run information sessions, careers fairs, coordinated assessment centres, and supported broader attraction and engagement strategies
- Strong organisational and time management skills with demonstrated agility and responsiveness to business needs
- Strong business partnering, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- A proactive, results-focused mindset and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detailExperience using Applicant Tracking Systems and other recruitment software.**Location**:
While primarily based at our Morningside Operations Centre, we encourage visits to other QLD locations to build stakeholder relationships and deepen industry knowledge. We also support hybrid working, with one day per week from home.

Our Morningside Operations Centre is a collaborative hub where you will find our funerals operations teams, QLD leadership, HR Business Partner, multimedia team, training facilities, a viewing room, a mortuary and cold room. You’ll need to feel comfortable working in an environment where deceased individuals are respectfully in our care.

Our Talent Acquisition team is based in Sydney, so you'll have the chance to travel there for training and team connection.
