**What you'll be doing**
- This position will assist the service by maintaining operational safety, providing technical assistance to clients and support all operational aspects of service delivery, maintain equipment in a safe and clean condition ensuring equipment is safe for purpose. This position will also provide equipment delivery and pick up to the ISLHD ISES clients, provide equipment safety and compliance inspections along with the on and off site repairs and replacement of equipment as required in line with the incumbent’s skill level and ongoing training provided. The position is also responsible for providing high level customer service and assistive administrative duties within the daily operation of the equipment services administration centre and service documentation. This position is responsible for processing equipment request forms along with the general set up and issue of equipment as required to assist administrative staff. The position will be required to work at times under mínimal supervision and / or under the direction of the Equipment Service Coordinator or Manager.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated proficiency in minor mechanical repairs, proficient use of tools and inspection requirements of equipment.
- Ability to use initiative and organisation, planning and time management skills in an environment of competing demands.
- Knowledge of loan pool equipment including function, safety and identifying the need for repairs or replacement.
- Previous cleaning experience in the Healthcare environment.
- Current NSW drivers licence or equivalent (manual transmission).
- Ability to assess risk and problem solve appropriately.
