**Your next career opportunity**

As the Schools Outreach Lead, you will spearhead the development of a university-wide approach to school and community outreach for underrepresented student cohorts. You'll have the opportunity to design and implement innovative, research-informed programs that align with the Australian Curriculum and span Years 6-12. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing the University's widening participation commitments, working collaboratively with various stakeholders to create lasting impact.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Strategic Program Development: Design and coordinate a cohesive, research-informed approach to school and community outreach, aligning with the Australian Curriculum for Years 6-12.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, schools, and community partners to integrate and enhance outreach activities.
- Evaluation and Improvement: Develop and implement a shared evaluation framework across all outreach activities, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with national benchmarks.
- Leadership and Advisory: Provide strategic advice and support to faculties and outreach teams, strengthening programs and aligning them with University strategy and Widening Participation priorities.

**You may be a great fit if**:
You are an experienced education professional with a strong background in designing and leading educational programs for equity cohorts, possessing excellent relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of the Australian schooling system and barriers to tertiary participation.

**You may also**:

- Hold a postgraduate qualification in education, teaching, learning design, social inclusion, or a relevant field.
- Have demonstrated experience in coordinating widening participation programs in education.
- Possess strong knowledge of the Australian curriculum and student learning progression from Years 6 to 12.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Have a deep understanding of barriers to tertiary participation for underrepresented students.
- Be skilled in building and managing strategic relationships in a university context.
