Finance and Controlling Management Trainee - Your future position?
Are you an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys juggling multiple tasks with competing priorities?
Then here is an exciting, multi-faceted role for you.You will be part of the local Finance team for managing all finance and controlling activities. You will be working actively with various stakeholders and supporting the Finance Director to ensure efficiency and compliance.
In this role, you will be based in Smithfield and would need to travel frequently to Baulkam Hills office.

In this exciting role, you will report to the Finance Director, Oceania and your main responsibilities include:
Full involvement in the month-end closing process (Including all MEC Activities from TB to BOFC) for all Australian and New Zealand entities
Manage transactional activities with acquired and small entities. The focus is to streamline in line with materiality and assist with the closure of these activities once the entity is non-operational then liquidated.
Prepare account analysis for group and statutory reporting
Preparation and Management of GST, WHT, FBT for all Australian and New Zealand Entities
Assist with Corporate Income Tax Filling and Local File (SGE Compliance)
Assist in checking of compliance with internal procedure and controls (ICON Review)
Support for audit activities (external and internal)
Support to GBS in troubleshooting related to General Accounting.
ABS (Statistics) Reporting
Manage cross-charge reviews (eg AU to SG) TP, and Cost charges
Assist with Enterprise Model Governance
Support local Trade Affairs compliance as required
Collaborate and business partner with shared services, regional finance team, and local cross-functional team
Participating in Finance and Controlling related projects as required (for example but not limited to - integration activities of acquired companies, Capex project management, SAP roll out in affiliates, government or tax scheme renewal process)

**Your professional profile includes**:
Three to five years of relevant work experience required
Accounting Degree required, CPA Qualification preferred
Must be internationally mobile
SAP Experience FI/CO is desirable
Advanced Excel Skills required
Strong interpersonal skills required
Good written and verbal communication skills required
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required
Must be action-oriented and have the ability to work independently
