**About the role**

Join one of Australia’s largest design teams as a Design Operations Principal led by our Head of Design Operations.

We, the nab.design team, are looking for amazing Design Operations Principal to make a difference to millions of our customers who connect with us daily. We do this by instilling the following Design Values:

The role has the responsibility of taking a lead role in Design Operations with a focus on frameworks, processes and measures that enables NABs design team to be highly engaged, efficient, and supported so they can create consistent, quality designs to drive organisational success.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Establish and embed consistent Experience Design framework for NAB to improve quality and impact of design outputs.
- Set the roadmap and approach to uplift Design maturity, developing capability program and community of practice.
- Input into design strategies, planning and execution.
- Recommend and deliver tools and frameworks required for Design.
- Manage workforce planning, recruitment and vendor engagement.
- Drive Design team cadences to drive efficiencies, collaboration and outcomes.
- Contract management, financial management and reporting.
