Reporting to the General Manager Asset Protection, you will be responsible for managing all Security related training to the business and ensuring all relevant statutory, regulatory, industry standards are met, and all staff are trained to a high level of competency.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Manage and co-ordinate all Security training requirements, including training days, recruit induction, complex Induction and other company training as required and in line with the Security training requirements for the financial year.
- Manage and co-ordinate ‘counter terrorism’ training to all areas of the business
- Manage and co-ordinate ‘emergency response’ training primarily to Asset Protection, but also to other areas of the business
- Provide a Training Calendar for the year’s training requirements and communicate the training program to Security Management.
- Manage all new Security recruits until successful completion of probation. This includes the completion of probation reviews.
- Ensure efficient cost-effective acquisition and co-orientation of Security Training, using approved external course providers.
- Coordinate self
- paced learning modules, complete assessments and record training achievements.
- Liaise with WH&S for delivery of all WHS training requirements.
- Liaise with the Training & Development department for the development, delivery and evaluation of competency-based skills training and entry level training programs.
- Provide Security Managers with training as required.

**The following skills or training advantageous**:

- Current QLD Security Industry Licence (or ability to obtain one through mutual recognition)
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Gambling Accreditation
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
