**About the role**

The Lifestyle Assistant is responsible for assisting with the provision of activities in accordance with the Positive Wellbeing Model of Care and which enhance the psychological, spiritual, social and physical well-being of residents and clients

In this role you will:

- Assist with development and delivery of leisure and recreational activities.
- Support residents to participate in activities; attend to the personal care needs of clients/residents as required.
- Assist with the regular review and improvement of activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of activities including evaluation of individual resident programs and plans.

**About you**

You are a dynamic and motivated individual who thrives on innovation when it comes to enriching the lives of the elderly. Whether it be a concert at the facility or a day out on the bus, your main goals are to motivate, inspire and involve the residents. You have excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills. You have a fun-loving nature along with compassion and understanding of individual needs.

Ideally your experience and qualifications include:

- First Aid certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate.
- Superior communication skills both written and verbal.
- Relevant work experience in aged care setting or similar environment providing leisure and health program services.
- Possess or have the ability to obtain a National Police Check.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check - or the ability to acquire

- Under Churches of Christ policy and/or the applicable public health directions, team members are required to be up to date with their COVID-19 Vaccination.
