**The Role**

We are looking for a confident male support worker to join our team in position that will see you providing practical and emotional day-to-day support to our female participants during weekdays. A variety of shifts available.

**The main role includes**:

- Companionship
- Social support
- Shopping
- Transportation
- Community access
- Fishing and shopping
- Domestic assistance & gardening
- Meal preparation

**We are seeking staff who will**:

- Show initiative in their role
- Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Be empathetic and caring
- Show compassion and guidance
- Be committed to providing exceptional quality care to participants
- Flexibility to work with short notice from time to time providing coverage for staff who are unable to work on the same day or week
- Writing progress notes and incident reports during your shift.
- You have a smartphone and are able to use basic IT apps.

**Skills and Experience**

To be successful in the role, you will require the following:

- Previous experience working in the role of a support worker or similar (Not essential but preferred)
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination
- Work Rights in Australia (permanent resident or citizen)
- NDIS worker screening clearance (or police check)
- First Aid Certificate (Not essential but preferred)
- CPR certificate (Not essential but preferred)
- A current Drivers Licence (P2 or above) and access to a reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance (preferred)

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift
