Part Time opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join one of Australia's leading Not for Profits. Temp for 6 weeks with scope to extend

**The Company**

Our client is seeking an Accounts Officer with Accounts Payable experience to cover some extended leave within the Finance Team. Feel good about going to work each day knowing this organisation supports the health and wellbeing of thousands of Victorians each month. Conveniently located in the South Yarra area, the business is less than 200m from the train station.

**The Role**

Your role will largely be responsible for supporting the Accountant / Finance Manager with Accounts Payable duties. The role will require roughly 20 hours per week & the client is happy for this to be split over 3, 4 or 5 days. While predominantly office based you will be given some flexibility to WFH after training. The role is to cover some unexpected leave for 6 weeks, however there is some uncertainty around whether the team member will be able to return. This could lead into a longer term opportunity, pending your performance.

You will be responsible for:

- Processing Invoices
- Prepare Payment Runs
- Bank Reconciliations
- Supplier Queries
- Support Accountant with Ad-Hoc Tasks

**Your Profile**

You will have experience with Accounts Payable tasks from your prior roles. This may be from a dedicated Accounts Payable role or having AP duties as part of a broader Finance Officer / Bookkeeper role. Any exposure to MYOB will be advantageous and ideally intermediate excel skills.

A positive attitude is a must for this role as the business has worked hard to develop a welcoming and inclusive culture that they wish to maintain.
