About Goodstart Wavell Heights

**Location**: Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre in Wavell Heights, purpose-built for children aged six weeks to five years.

**Rooms and Programs**:
Five rooms offering educational, play-based programs aligned with children's interests.
Twelve educators, including a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher for the Kindergarten program.

**Educator Team**:
Qualified and experienced educators fostering nurturing and loving bonds with each child.
Years of experience in childcare and early learning settings.

**Family Collaboration**:
Collaborative approach with families to meet their needs and ensure smooth settling and transitions.
Play days and special events for families to participate and engage with the center.

**Learning Environments**:
Rooms (Nursery to Kindergarten) aligned with Early Years Learning Framework, emphasising sensory and play-based learning.
Colourful and stimulating surroundings fostering growth and development.

**Communication**:
Tailoring programs to individual needs, interests, strengths, and cultural diversity.

**Outdoor Spaces**:
Three age-appropriate play areas with sandpits, manmade and natural play surfaces, undercover areas, a play bridge, vege patch, digging pit, and ample natural shade.

**Community Engagement**:
Emphasis on community through center visits, participation in events, and activities throughout the year.
Daily art and music experiences providing children the freedom to express their creativity.

**What Goodstart can offer you**:
You’ll get paid on par with state primary school Teachers (*if you hold your Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent) $37.02 + $59.00 per hour + super

**You’ll need**:
Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) or a Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
Current Qld Working with Children Check
