**About the role
Classify inpatient episodes of care using the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, Tenth Revision, Australian Modification (ICD-10-AM) and The Australian Classification of Health Interventions (ACHI) according to the Australian Coding Standards and Queensland Health requirements. Assist in the maintenance, development and continued quality assessment of the clinical record content and the clinical record process.
About you
Clinical coding - abstract and verify relevant information in the clinical record; assign accurate ICD-10-AM codes and perform DRG grouping according to the Australian Coding Standards, State Coding Authority and legislative guidelines within designated timeframes at both Caboolture and Kilcoy Hospitals.
Utilise the 3M Web Codefinder software, relevant patient information systems and related pathology and associated databases to assist in verification and allocation of codes
