Leading client in **Melbourne** is looking for a **Technical Business Process Writer** on a **4 months contract** plus possible extension. **APPLY NOW**
**About this role**:
The Business Process Writer role will be to work with the Governance and Reporting
team to create, define and document business procedures and policies that support
efficiencies and process improvement. Your focus will be on creating engaging
learning content for business users at all levels of the organisation. support the
creation of high-level business process documentation, to help support our internal
operational functions.
**Objectives of this role**:
? Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organisational standards
? Gain understanding of organisational needs, and translate complex
information into simple, polished, engaging content
? Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of organsiation, turning
insights into language for user success
? Develop and maintain detailed database of reference materials
? Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement
**Key Accountabilities**:
? Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various
departments to understand requirements
write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
? Work with development and support leads to identify documentation
repositories, revise and edit, and determine best solutions for data compilation
? Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with
consistent voice across all documentation

**Qualifications and Experience**
? Two or more years of experience as an effective technical writer
? Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various
audiences including government sector
? Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
? Experience in working with stakeholders to improve user experience (ex:
design, UI), refine content, and create visuals and diagrams for technical
support content
? Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
? An appropriate tertiary qualification, preferably Bachelor's degree (or
equivalent) in journalism, communications, or relevant technical field
? Firm understanding of SDLC (systems development lifecycle)
? Previous experience in Government, Regulatory Services background
