**The opportunity**

Reporting to the Development Superintendent, this role will manage their crew, including shotcrete and diamond driller
personnel, to ensure that information, plant, and equipment are consistently maintained, in accordance to company
policies and statutory requirements. You will be responsible in ensuring the safe and efficient underground mining
operations.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Monitor all aspects of operations within the underground work area and report on specific safety issues.
Achieve agreed performance goals in safety, environment, and development.
Management and Supervision of team performance, training, and development.
Actively promote adherence to the operations schedule.
Uphold operations standards and identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Assist with the implementation of strategies for controlling, optimising, and improving the efficiency of the

operations.
Coordinate and achieve the week’s scheduled targets for sandfill and service crew activities.
Coordinate and achieve operational objectives.
Ensure all relevant documentation, such as audits and inspections, are completed in a timely and efficient

manner, to the agreed standard.
Maintain a close working relationship with all departments across the operations.

**What will you bring?**

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of five (5) years operational experience (functional-mining),
excellent communication and leadership skills, and a commitment to safe work practices. It will be favourable if you
have hydraulic fill experience, including construction of barricades and management of services.

It is a requirement of the role that you must hold or be willing to undertake the training required to obtain a NSW
Resource Regulator, Underground Mine Supervisor Certificate of Competence or hold qualifications that are eligible
for mutual recognition and a NSW Resource Regulator, Underground Mine Supervisor Practising Certificate, and a
current First Aid Certificate.
