An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced JQ8 Storeperson to join our Supply Department.

The Procurement and Supply Department is responsible for running procurement activities, making purchases on behalf of the Health Service and includes managing contracts and suppliers, forecasting, managing inventory and warehousing, transport and customer services. The department supplies all medical, surgical, and general supplies in an efficient and error free environment meeting all applicable standards.

**Role Specific**:

- Refill picking locations within the Sterile Store with stock from overflow shelves or from deliveries received from suppliers and transfers from the Vernon Central Store. Ensure stock is checked to ensure the correct product has been received and that stock is put in the correct locations and rotated as required.
- Review imprest areas for both campuses and use barcode scanning equipment to identify products to be replenished. Sync the handheld unit after each ward review is completed;
- Accurately pick orders and pack appropriately for delivery to end users;
- Deliver picked orders to the Wards and put away in the appropriate Sterile drawer locations within the wards;
- Assist Austin Health staff with general and phone enquiries as required.
- Assist with store duties at Repat Campus Theatres and other wards which includes scanning, ordering, putting away stock and assist staff with requests.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with Austin Health Policy and OH&S Procedures.
- Report any OH&S issues to the supervisor;
- Maintain competence in using hTrak scanners.
- Assist with syncing hTrak orders to WPR and printing pick slips as required;
- Advise supervisor of any stock errors identified or incorrect stock or products in wrong locations;
- Liaise with Austin Buying team re stock issues as required;
- Complete regular and consistent cleaning routines as outlined by the Store Coordinator;
- Provide support & assistance to the Theatre Store Supervisor as required.
- Other duties as directed.
