About us

Elevate support care are growing team dedicated in providing NDIS services and ensuring all participants receive the quality care they truly deserve.

We are looking for carers with initiative to facilitate opportunities for participant to enjoy living life. No babysitters allowed

You must have First Aid training that includes Epilepsy management or be willing to be

trained.

We prefer experience with manual handling and hoist transfer's, PEJ/PEG feeding via pump (not gravity or bolus) and in administering medication; but we will also provid additional training and supervision in buddy/shadow shifts.

Training in AAC (PODD) communication, in using Partcipants AT equipment and in daily personal care tasks are regularly provided by the appropriate speech, physio and occupational therapist.

Shifts cover the following broad categories:
1. Personal care: bathing, dressing, continence care, meal assistance, medicine

administration via PEG and pump PEJ feeding.

2. Housekeeping: meal preparation & clean up, laundry and minor maintenance for

equipment.

3. Education & therapy - assistance with transport, personal care, communication &
scribing: vocational training and assisting Speech, OT or Physiotherapy programs.

4. Community access - assistance with transport, personal care and communication:
swimming, shopping, medical appointments, business errands, attending sports &
recreational or entertainment venues, meeting up with friends, participating at

church, day activities and holidays away with friends

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $32.00 - $55.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Epping VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
