**Melbourne Fresh Distribution Centre**
Located in Truganina, Victoria, Melbourne Fresh Distribution Centre (MFDC) is the latest distribution centre being added to the Woolworths Supply Chain network. MFDC will keep the Woolworths Victorian network “faster and fresher” by consolidating all our fresh produce lines into one facility. To ensure we are keeping our produce fresh we do operate in a temperature controlled warehouse environment, which means where we work is 2 degrees all year around.

**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our leadership team. As a Team Leader, you will effectively lead and manage your assigned team to meet safety, operational, people, customer and financial performance expectations. This role is a night shift working Tuesday - Saturday.

**A typical day would involve**:

- Managing the performance of a large team to meet production targets and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
- Completing staff assessments of competence against job standards and criteria
- Building and promoting a positive and efficient team culture with a focus on continuous improvement of systems and processes
- Ensuring safe work practises and housekeeping are embedded in daily operations

**Who we’re looking for**:
Along with demonstrated experience in leading, coaching and managing teams to meet objectives you will have:

- Strong planning and problem solving skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication ability (written and verbal)
- Resilience to meet challenging targets and timeframes
- Flexibility to meet business needs, including changing shifts and days as required
- Knowledge of Supply Chain/Distribution Centre Operations and warehouse management systems will be advantageous but is not essential
