How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?

Due to consistent growth in our Aviation team, we are looking for an Airport Planner or Senior Airport Planner to join our team, ideally in Melbourne, where you will work on a range of aviation planning projects and develop your career in areas such as airport planning, master planning, integrated design, stakeholder communications and leadership skills.

You will have:

- Experience in terminal planning, airfield planning and broader airport master planning
- Demonstrated knowledge of modern design tools and digital approaches to airport planning and design such as AutoCAD, Civil3d, Infraworks, BIM360, Revit, 12D, AviPlan or related tools
- Knowledge of local and global standards applicable to airport/airfield planning and design such as IATA Annex 14, IATA ADRM and Manual of Standards 139
- Keen interest in airport operations and simulation tools such as CAST, Airtop and other pedestrian simulation tools
- A Bachelors or master’s degree in a relevant or related discipline to Airport Planning, Civil Engineering, Airport Management and Operations

- Scoping and undertaking studies on airfield layout, apron configuration and passenger terminal planning and surface access planning and modelling.
- Critical problem solving and facilitation of demand and capacity assessments
- Development of airport masterplans
- Plan and conduct on-site research to collect and assemble original data from maps, plans, reports, and surveys, and analyse data to creates simulation models
- Presenting to clients and at internal meetings.
