**About the role**
Based in Loganholme, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of two child & youth mental health programs across South East QLD, the Child & Family Wellbeing Service and the Reach Out Parents program.
You will support your team to do their best work through flexible and adaptable strengths based-leadership, professional supervision, practice support and learning opportunities. This is no ordinary team, as we're highly engaged, despite working in a mix of office, community and WFH across South-East Queensland. Some travel between offices located across greater Brisbane will be required as per need.
**Reach Out Parents Program**:
This is a national award wining early intervention program focused on coaching parents/carers to build their skills and confidence in supporting their teenage children who may be experiencing early signs of mental health issues.
We use a virtual service delivery model to coach parents to find positive ways to support their teenager and use effective parenting strategies and tools to strengthen their relationship with their teenager.

**Child and Family Wellbeing Service**
This early intervention program provides support to children and young people who are showing early signs of, or are at risk of developing a mental illness. Our outreach service, based in families’ homes, aims to improve the resilience and wellbeing of children and families, enabling them to better participate in their communities and reach their full potential.
**Your Responsibilities**:
- As part of a supportive and creative leadership team you will champion service improvements and practice excellence to ensure the best outcomes for children and their parents/carers
- Maximise outcomes for staff and clients through collaboration, by capitalising on the practice experience and strengths across TBS and the two programs
- As a leader you will play an important role in fostering and supporting a positive, collaborative and outcome focused team culture
- You will model and guide your team around the setting of professional boundaries with clients
- You will use your expertise to provide advice and assistance to team members in assessments of risk, and trauma informed decision-making for vulnerable children and young people and their families
**Skills and Experience**
You will have a degree qualification in Allied Health, Social Work, Psychology or related discipline and:
- Program Leadership - experience managing and leading youth mental health programs in the Community Services sector
- People Leadership - experience building/maintaining an engaged, high performing team and developing their capability
- Practice Leadership - a passion for continuous improvement and implementing industry best practice into service delivery
- IT Capability - ability to lead a virtual team utilising technology within a mobile and virtual service delivery model
- Flexible & Collaborative Approach - lead this innovative team/program and engage a range of stakeholders
