About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated **Disability Support Workers** to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality support to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to live independently and achieve their personal goals. You will work in a person-centered environment, assisting clients with daily living tasks, community participation, and personal care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide person centred support tailored to individual needs
- Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Support participants in accessing the community, including social and recreational activities
- Implement care plans and follow individual support strategies
- Monitor and report on participant's progress, well-being, and any changes in their needs
- Promote independence, dignity, and respect in all aspects of care
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with NDIS and organisational guidelines
- Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and other support staff

Skills & Experience:

- Previous experience in disability support, aged care, or a related field (preferred but not essential)
- A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or a related qualification (desirable)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transport (if required for the role)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to care

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 15 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
