Team Leader Mental Health Child and Adolescent

**This is a Permanent Full Time appointment.**

**Position Profile**:Responsible for the program management of the Pilbara Mental Health and Drug Service, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Program. Under the direction of the Regional Director Mental Health and, in consultation with the Clinical Director, ensures the provision of best practice clinical services to young people and their families across the communities of the Pilbara. Provision of advanced level of child and adolescent community mental health services to clients of the Pilbara Mental Health and Drug Service based on best practice, cultural competence and trauma awareness.

**Eligibility to Apply**: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

As well as undertaking a criminal record screening and integrity checking, you may also be required to undertake a working with children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment. Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
