**About you**
We are looking for an experienced legal assistant, with a background in a variety of areas preferably litigation and property or corporate. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get to know the inner workings of all practice groups and work closely with all members of staff. If you like the idea of being skilled in all areas of law, having the excitement of each day being different to the last, and building relationships across all practice groups, then this is the role for you
You will be:

- an excellent communicator
- experienced at an intermediate level with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PDF Docs or equivalent, and
- experienced using file management and practice management systems such as FileSite and Aderant.

**Your role**
As Float Legal Assistant you will work closely with our People and Development team to provide outstanding administrative support to the firm. You will be nimble and work collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for our people and clients. This is a full time role but it is open to part time (4 days per week).
Responsibilities include:

- Preparing and amending correspondence/documents, including dictation
- Opening/closing files, timesheet entry, monthly billing and coding of credit card/expense reimbursements
- Diary management, events and arranging travel as required
- Providing relief reception cover
- Other administrative tasks, such as photocopying and filing.
