**_About the Role_**

We are looking for a Permanent Part time Caseworker to join our Aunties and Uncles Program based in Batemans Bay. As an Aunties and Uncles Caseworker you will ensure the provision of quality support and facilitate community placement/linkages to vulnerable children aged 3-12 years and their families. Undertake and facilitate the provision of referral, assessment, support and case management to children and volunteer carers in order to provide children with access to a caring and positive role model and mentor.

**_A great Aunties and Uncles Caseworker would be able to:_**
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Diploma in Social Sciences/ Social Welfare or equivalent
- Demonstrate a commitment to the safety of children, young people and people with a disability
- Proven recruitment, and assessment skills and ongoing support of Volunteer Carers
- Provide quality case management for children, young people and families
- Provide quality referral and information support for children, families and (prospective) Volunteer Carers
- Promotion of the program within the Illawarra region through established community networks
- Current driver’s licence
