We are seeking dedicated and compassionate **Auslan-speaking Disability Support Workers** to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact by providing **engaging and enjoyable experiences** for clients who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

**About the Role**:
As an **Auslan-speaking Disability Support Worker**, your primary responsibility will be to:

- Spend quality time with clients, providing social and recreational support
- Facilitate enjoyable activities based on clients' interests and preferences
- Build meaningful relationships with clients and provide emotional support
- Encourage community participation and help clients engage with others
- Communicate effectively with clients using **Auslan** to ensure they feel understood and supported

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **Proficiency in Auslan** (preferred)
- A passion for working with people and creating a positive, inclusive environment
- The ability to build connections and provide clients with a fun and supportive experience
- A flexible and adaptable approach to client needs
- Strong communication skills and an ability to work both independently and within a team

**Requirements**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Valid Driver’s License & reliable transport (preferred)
- COVID-19 Vaccination (as per health guidelines)

Pay: $40.00 - $48.59 per hour

Expected hours: 5 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- No weekends
- On call
- Overtime
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only
