**About the opportunity**:
We offer a permanent part-time support worker position with a $33.42/hr pay rate, superannuation, and salary packaging.

**Role Requirements**:

- Experience working with young children or early years play groups.
- Knowledge of developmental milestones and facilitating group activities.
- Challenging behaviour experience - we have customers with complex health and behavioural concerns.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, preferably from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

**Typical duties might include**:

- Ability to develop positive relationships with our customers and to support their care plans, including goals.
- Empower to establish effective communication with customers using an individualized approach, using whatever means of communication is appropriate for each individual.
- Implementing and reviewing Individual Program Plans.
- Record the progress of each customer in line with relevant documentation.
- Devise and facilitate program activities and workshops with customers and other support staff.
- Support and actively encourage customer participation in decision-making about their program and service.

**Pre-Employment Requirements**:

- Valid working rights.
- A current Driver's Licence and confidence to drive an accessible van.
- NSW Working with Children Checks NSW.
- NDIS Worker Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Health Assessment
