This role would be ideal for someone to work around their freelance work, a return to work parent or someone looking to take a step back from a full time environment. This is a multifaceted, exciting role with the Visual Arts & Design Education Association (VADEA).

VADEA promotes the study of Visual Arts and Design education and to inspire and support Visual Art and Design teachers.
Their strategic goals include professional development, building a more cohesive community, advocacy and research for Visual Arts and Design education
**About the role**:
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a close knit, collaborative & supportive team. This is a flexible, high level administration role that would be perfect for someone who wants to work part time, maybe 4 hours per day 3/4 days per week.
**Duties include but are not limited to**:
- Maintain and update member records and renewals in the CRM database system. Capturing member feedback, including issues and complaints
- Event Management - Manage the annual VADEA NSW Conference, including registration, venue hire, sponsorships and showbags, catering, running the conference registration desk
- Processing invoicing and payments using Xero
with presenters, agreements with presenters, general budgeting, ordering promotional products etc.
- General administration, file management and enquiries as required e.g. seeking conference sponsorship, vendors, services, products, conference providers
**To be successful you will have**:
- Previous experience in a similar membership or customer engagement role
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with new and existing members
- Demonstrated experience using CRM systems and skills including Google Drive, Word, Excel
- Knowledge of website management is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Committed and energetic, a multitasker able to prioritise and who enjoys a diverse role
