Pinpoint Talent is seeking a Payroll Officer with experience in Health to join our Government Agency client.
- An APS4 equivalent
- Brisbane or Canberra

**The Role**
Your responsibilities as Payroll Officer will include:

- Working closely with the HR Manager and Management Accountant
- Experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Updating staff details
- Reconciliations using ERP software
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment enquiries.
- Working to resolve payment issues,
- Contribute to decision-making within the team/work area.
- Consistently meeting the team and individual work resolution targets
- Ensuring knowledge of and compliance with legislative, financial and administrative frameworks.

**To be successful for this role you will have**:

- Experience within a similar role
- State or territory qualifications
- Ability to respond to and prioritize competing and often urgent requests in a calm and efficient manner
- Outstanding communication, both written and verbal
- Liaise with stakeholders in relation to difficult or sensitive issues
