As we are a relatively small team, you would enjoy the diverse variety of your job, occasional stepping outside of the routine work to ensure team goals are met. As the Operations Supervisor you’ll play a vital role providing valuable waste management solutions to our clients and customers within Victoria through outstanding communication.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervising the site and drivers team to achieve required objectives
- Organising trucks, contractors, rosters and labour hire
- Ensuring allocation of work is conducted in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible
- Supporting maintenance requirements of the fleet
- Managing the collection of operational data
- Workplace inspections at site, toolbox talks, hazard alerts and Incident reports
- Ensuring that all WH&S, fatigue management, organisational policies, procedures and local laws are understood and complied
- Provide professional customer service and ensure operations and scheduling duties are conducted effectively and efficiently
- Scheduling of services/activities in liaison within the Operations Team
- Prepare, generate and distribute Daily Run Sheets to internal drivers and external subcontractors
***Who you are**
- You’ll possesses strong analytical and communication skills and have demonstrated experience with streamlining and improving business operations
- You’ll use your positive attitude and natural ability to solve problems to great effect in this role
- You’ll have demonstrated prior supervisory in an operational and/or logístical role
- Thorough knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns is essential
- Strong understanding of truck and equipment safety
- Excellent planning, decision making and communication (written and verbal) skills
- You have sound Microsoft Office with strong Excel and basic computer/data entry skills
- Whilst experience in the waste arena is a nice to have, more important to us is the drive, motivation and resilience required to succeed in a high growth, dynamic environment
