Due to recent growth, we are currently seeking a superstar **Accounts / Bookkeeper** for a successful demolition company based in Carlton NSW.

**Main responsibilities;**
- Request data information from the team in relation to daily times, job specifics etc.
- Check daily times compared to job management system - cross check.
- Understanding of XERO and general accounting such as reconciling, bank feeds, invoicing etc.
- Understanding of HR - onboarding, payroll, invoicing matching, contracts, bills, tax, super, wages etc.
- Collecting and chasing payments
- Input employees times into a time sheet calculator.
- Check job management system for compliance forms completion.
- Extract information and data from jobs to determine costings and invoicing amount.
- General Administration

**Experience, skills and qualifications;**
- The role is 90% bookkeeper with the remaining 10% admin.
- Must have 5 years’ experience in Australian bookkeeping/accounting, with great knowledge of how accounting works.
- Experience or some background in the construction industry, this is highly preferred though not essential.
- Excellent written and verbal skills are essential
- Accounting experience and qualifications
- Experience using XERO or similar
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Project Administration background will be viewed favourably.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and great attention to detail.
- A practical and well organised approach with a proven ability to multitask.
- Positive attitude and attention to detail

Salary will be negotiable depending on experience and suitability to the role.
