Join us as a Dockhand, a vital role in freight handling, offering a part-time position from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, Monday through Friday, 20 hours weekly, with potential for longer hours during peak times. No prior experience is necessary, but we seek physically fit individuals with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to safety. As a Dockhand, you'll play a key role in our operations, handling collection processes, offloading consignments, labeling, and ensuring consignments meet weight and dimension requirements. You'll also manage special handling, sort consignments, link data to loading areas, and ensure on-time loading.

**Position Overview**: Join our team as a Dockhand for an exciting role in freight handling. This casual position offers you the opportunity to work from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, Monday to Friday, with 20 hours per week. There may be a need for longer hours during busy periods.

**Responsibilities**: As a Dockhand, your core responsibilities will include:

- **Check-in (Collection Process)**: Efficiently collect and record consignments.
- **Offload**: Handle and offload all consignments from the PUD (Pick-Up & Delivery) units.
- **Consignments Check**: Verify consignments for weight and dimensions, ensuring compliance with RPP (Regulated Product Packaging) standards.
- **Special Handling**: Identify and manage consignments with special requirements, such as dangerous goods or security (x-ray) items.
- **Sorting**: Organize consignments into the correct loading areas/units.
- **Data Linking**: Use scanning methods to link consignment data to the appropriate loading area/unit.
- **Loading**: Skillfully load consignments within the collection process, ensuring they are on time.

**Requirements**:

- Experience is not necessary, but a strong commitment to safety and a positive attitude are essential.
- Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
