Purchasing Officer

**The Role**:
Due to continual growth, we are on a lookout for permanent Purchasing Officer to join our passionate team to support our growth. Working with the Purchasing team, you will work to ensure the appropriate purchasing responsibilities are completed to the highest standards.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Checking material requisitions for approvals
- Processing purchase orders resulting from requisitions
- Matching up approved invoices with purchase orders
- Checking Invoices & sign off on pricing
- Monitoring backorder status with vendors and keep sites informed
- Providing administration support as required
- Knowledge of Plumbing Materials
- Must have previous experience in a similar role
- Experience in JobPac would be highly advantageous
- Ensure all tasks are carried out effectively while adhering to and following all relevant processes
- Time management to meet deadlines whilst ensuring attention to detail
- Understanding of reporting
- Ability to problem solve
- Experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a group to achieve required outcomes
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate at all levels of the organisation, as well as external customers and suppliers
