**Barista / Customer Service**

The Station Grocer is a family-owned Australian fuel supplier and convenience retailer that is proud to have the best coffee, food and fuel sites in the Northern Rivers.

We are currently seeking a friendly, reliable and talented barista team member to join us at our Goonellabah location.
- 4.30am to 10.30am
- 4-5 shifts / week including rotating weekends
- $30.98/hour weekday (Age 20+)
- $40.42/hour weekend (Age 20+)

**About You**
- Relevant previous solid barista experience in a busy environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisation skills
- Team player

**Your Role**
- Greet customers as they enter
- Operate the console (process payments: cash and credit card)
- Help set up the store for the day’s trade
- Take orders and prepare hot and cold beverages
- Prepare and serve food: cakes, pastries, muffins, pies and breakfast offer
- Maintain a clean barista area and equipment
- Maintain a safe workspace, abide by workplace health & safety policies & procedures

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.98 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- Barista: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
