About the Role

Beaudesert State High School is located within the Beautiful Scenic Rim. We are highly involved within our Community and extremely driven to achieve positive outcomes for students and staff alike.

We are looking for a fulltime Head of Department for English. A few qualities we are looking for include:
Ability to lead with influence
Being able to create positive connections with your staff and students
Performing at a high standard, to lead by example
Strong analytical skills and Interpersonal skills

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
Set high standards for student and staff performance.
Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
