**About the Role**

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for supporting the hotel’s Stores and Purchasing areas in receiving, storing and delivering stock. This includes coordinating the purchasing requirements of the Hotel departments, and ensure all requirements are met in a timely, cost effective manner.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Receives, checks and examines the inventory and quality of stock that arrives in the loading dock which includes perishables, dry stores, beverage, printing, stationary and all items delivered to the hotel
- Ensure all incoming goods are cross referenced against their invoices to ensure no discrepancies
- Coordinate with various departments on stock received
- Transport goods from the loading bay safely to storage areas and to distribute to departments for use
- Maintain a safe work area including maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the stores area
- Maintain security standards in receival, transfer and storage of goods

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in a similar position
- Ability to manage conflicting deadlines
- Sharp eye for detail and accuracy
- Unrestricted visa and working rights in Australia
- Should be able to safely operate a pallet jack
- Ability to lift and move heavy items
- Experience BirchStreet Software systems is preferred but not essential
