We are currently recruiting a Case Manager to manage a portfolio of **Physical and Psychological claims within our Federal Self-Insurance **business unit. You will be the point of contact for our self-insured client and the injured worker, guiding them through the workers compensation process and supporting optimum return to work outcomes. In return, we want to help your career flourish with progression opportunities regularly available and ongoing training to help you gain new skills, grow and accomplish your goals.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- You will be proactively managing mental health and physical claims, drawing on your exceptional customer service and decision-making skills to help make a positive impact on someone’s life every day
- Adopt a service
- orientated approach that is focused on early intervention and the interests of all stakeholders
- Facilitate active participation of the injured worker and their employer in any return to work and recovery planning
- Bringing your existing skills, you can do more of what you love or learn something new in a team aligned to Federal Self-Insurance

**ABOUT YOU**
- You will have a background in customer service
- You will display a high level of empathy and resilience when supporting your injured workers through your customer centric approach
- You will be proactive, strategically focused and can think creatively when engaging with stakeholders such as workers, employers, providers and family
- You will have strong communication skills and can build rapport and confidence with your customers
- You will effectively listen and understand the needs of the customer and what is important to them to enable their recovery and return to work
- Prior experience in claims management and/or allied health experience is highly desirable
- Tertiary studies in Business, Commerce or Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Nursing, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling or Exercise Science) are advantageous
