**Job Title: Casual Physiotherapy Receptionist**

**Location**: Cheltenham, VIC
**Employment Type**: Casual
**Hours**: Approx. 7 hours per week across 2 shifts (currently Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 4:00pm to 7:30pm), with potential to cover other shifts
**Start Date**: Late May

We’re a family-friendly physiotherapy clinic with a team of four experienced physiotherapists, offering high-quality Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates services in a supportive and welcoming environment. We pride ourselves on patient care, professionalism, and creating a positive atmosphere for both staff and clients.

**The Role**:
We’re currently looking for a **Casual Receptionist** to join our front desk team. This casual role is ideal for a **motivated and articulate person** looking to gain valuable work experience in a professional health setting.

You'll be the face of the clinic during your shifts—strong communication skills, initiative, and reliability are essential. You will be friendly and approachable, have good attention to detail and be passionate about helping others.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage patient bookings and appointment schedules
- Process patient payments and manage billing
- Maintain a clean and organised reception and clinic space
- Support the physiotherapists with administrative tasks as required

**Skills & Experience - Required**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Well presented
- Professional phone manner and interpersonal confidence
- Ability to work independently and show initiative
- An understanding of the importance of first impressions and patient care

**Desirable Skills (Bonus if you have them)**:

- Familiarity with practice management software 'Cliniko'
- Previous physiotherapy or medical reception experience
- Experience processing Hicaps Private Health and Medicare payments
