Plasma Operator

As a result of our continued success, we are looking for a **Plasma Operator** to join our **Hope Valley Workshop.**

**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- You will be part of a team including Operators and Programmers and you will be operating a Kinetic K5000 machine.
- Communicating with programmers for fault finding and best processes for optimal cutting.
- Load/unload CNC plasma programs.
- Overhead crane use to load steel plate on/off the plasma bed.
- Forklift use to move steel plates.
- Changing cutting and drilling tools during operation.
- Interpreting work orders and prioritizing based on due date and material.
- Communicating effectively with TA’s, programmers and other operators.
- Keeping work area clean and tidy.

**Skills, experience** **and key features**
- Can do Attitude.
- Relevant experience with CNC operating.
- Previous Operating experience on Kinetic machines is highly advantageous.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience.
- Strong understanding of CNC - machining tools.
- Able to plan and discuss the most efficient machine set up.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hope Valley, WA 6165: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
