Plasma Operator

As a result of our continued success we are looking for a **CNC Plasma Operator** to join our Kwinana Workshop.

**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- You will be part of a team including Operators and Programmers and you will be operating our new Kinetic K5000 machine.
- Communicating with programmers for fault finding and best processes for optimal cutting.
- Load/unload CNC plasma programs.
- Overhead crane use to load steel plate on/off the plasma bed.
- Forklift use to move steel plates.
- Changing cutting and drilling tools during operation.
- Interpreting work orders and prioritizing based on due date and material.
- Communicating effectively with programmers and other operators.
- Keeping work area clean and tidy.

**Skills, experience and key features**
- Can do Attitude - This is a must.
- Relevant experience with CNC operating.
- Previous Operating experience on Kinetic machines is highly advantageous.
- Experienced user of Prime cut or Prime Cut NE.
- Strong knowledge in reading and interpreting drawings.
- Minimum 5 years experience.
- Strong understanding of CNC - machining tools.
- Able to plan and discuss the most efficient machine set up.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
