**As the Capability Development Consultant, you will**:

- Conduct training needs analysis, in order to scope capability development requirements, to ensure that capability development meets business needs and continuous improvement of service delivery.
- Research, design, develop and evaluate capability development programs and resources, where appropriate, utilising contemporary learning techniques and strategies to facilitate a whole-of-organisational approach to ongoing growth and capability across Queensland Shared Services. This may include designing and developing eLearning modules.
- Plan and coordinate capability development activities to ensure alignment with current business priorities, including analysing capability development needs, identifying priorities and future requirements based on Queensland Shared Services roadmap and strategy.
- Contribute to organisational development initiatives, across Queensland Shared Services, to support the achievement of business objectives, ensuring alignment with CHDE's Strategic Plan and Workforce Plan, QGCDG's workforce strategies and supporting frameworks/initiatives.
- Assist in design and facilitation of stakeholder workshops. This also includes coordinating and organising external providers, workshop logistics such as scheduling, attendance and records management through the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Design training materials including, training resources, facilitator guides, PowerPoints and eLearning courses using appropriate software.
- Engage, consult and build effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure capability development initiatives are in line with business objectives and reach mutually successful outcomes.
- Drive and facilitate change within the business and contribute to a culture of growth and development.
