**About the role**

The Labour Planner is a newly-created role, which will lead annual and monthly labour planning to ensure efficient and sustainable resourcing across GrainCorp’s port and country operations in QLD, NSW and VIC.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Supply Chain Planning, the role may be flexibly based from any of the following locations: QLD (Mackay, Gladstone, Brisbane, Toowoomba), NSW (Tamworth, Newcastle, Wollongong, Wagga Wagga) or VIC (Geelong, Portland, Marong).

Specifically, you will:

- Utilise workforce planning models to build the annual labour resourcing plan by region according to the production / outload forecasts
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure resourcing plans are executed and budgeted for and adjusted as required
- Collaborate on the monthly plan with Regional Supply Chain Planning teams to ensure cost effective and efficient labour resourcing to meet the requirements of the plan
- Understand and interpret the relevant Enterprise Agreement conditions and shift entitlements to maximise efficiency of plans
- Monitor the gap to annual plan, resolve any monthly exceptions and escalate strategic annual exceptions to the annual planning team
- Provide input into workforce planning and budget forecast models and ensure data informed decisions are made through utilisation of tools.

**About your experience**
- Sound ability to read, understand and interpret a range of industrial instruments, especially enterprise agreements
- Experience or exposure to workforce scheduling / optimisation tools, such as UKG Dimensions or similar
- Strong communication, planning, stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Bonus: experience gained in a relatable industry such as resources, transport / logistics, agriculture or similar.
