Electrical Engineering Technician

Bartech Switchboards continuously invests in product training with local and overseas

supply partners to ensure that we are at the forefront of designing and manufacturing type tested

electrical systems, according to Australian and IEC standards.

As industry leaders, Bartech Switchboards has been a long standing NESMA (National

Electrical Switchboard Members Association) member with our director, serving as the

current NESMA president. Our combined focus is to continually promote the advancement

of the electrical switchboard industry through quality products, a highly skilled workforce,

as well as raising the standards of the switchboard manufacturing industry globally.

The successful applicant will report to the Manager on a daily basis, some of the following

tasks are as follows:

- Understand electrical switchboard drawings
- Electrical Experience in switchboard manufacturing / fitting
- Distribution Cabling
- Control Wiring
- General Switchboard construction/fabrication
- Be able to read electrical drawings
- Understand manufacturing process

To be considered for this position the successful applicant will need to have the following qualifications or skills:
AQF Associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)

3 years’ work experience in the field
