**_ Our Elderly Personal & Wellbeing Carers_**

At Infinite Care, we pride ourselves on providing industry leading resident care and services which encourages and enables residents to remain independent with all employees working in our companywide safety-first workplace. Our Personal Carer Worker (PCWs) are highly interactive supporting our elderly residents, their families, and colleagues 7 days a week across AM, PM and Nightshifts. We offer shifts in strength & conditioning physio, 1:1 companion support, memory support, engagement and wellbeing and medication shifts with inhouse training programs and buddy systems.

This role based at Infinite Care Cleveland Aged Care Home | Redland Bay QLD will see you working closely with the nursing, hospitality and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers. The attached position description outlines specific job duties and accountabilities.

As an experienced aged care personal carer, you have the strong ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively and clearly, build trust & rapport quickly, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike. In addition, you will also
- Excellent safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears
- Very positive teamwork attitude, a trusted co-worker, excellent time management (we are a shift driven workplace including handovers) and follow strict safety procedures at all times to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
- A passion for choosing a career where you can make a difference and willingness to help our company deliver quality of care services everyday
- Great communication skills to engage with our elderly residents in a calm, patient and highly empathic manner that builds trust, companionship and friendship in a warm style.
- Aged Care **Certificate III in Individual Support** (Aged Care) is essential or other Cert III courses in related healthcare studies. We do recognise 2nd year nursing students with a placement in Aged Care as well.
- Hold the **NDIS Workers Screening Clearance** as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector. (*or willingness to obtain)
